IHG gave early access to cobranded cardholders but opened it on Thursday to IHG One Rewards Platinum and Diamond members.

IHG cobranded credit cardholders can now take advantage of this award stay discount. If you book by September 16 and stay by October 26, you can get 15% off the points cost of an award stay. However, the booking must be for no more than 3 nights. You should be able to see the discount directly in the booking interface. Based on the last promotion, bookings using a free night certificate should also be eligible for the 15% off discount, as long as the discounted price is still within the certificate cap.

If you already have an award stay booked, you can first check whether the 15% off discount is available, then cancel and rebook right away. In addition, based on past experience, this is currently only open to cardholders, and after a few days it may be expanded to some elite members.
