IHG’s quarterly promotion, Accelerate, is back for a new quarter. After logging into your own IHG Rewards Club account, you should be able to see the offer you received. IHG has always tended to favor new members over longtime ones, so older accounts generally should not expect too much. Newer members often get better offers, which is worth noting.

Eligible stays must take place between January 1, 2017 and April 15, 2017, inclusive.

Things to Note

  • You must register for the promotion first; stays before registration will not count.
  • Kimpton hotels, which are part of IHG, do not participate in this promotion, so stays at Kimpton will not count.
  • IHG award stays and Cash+Point bookings also do not count as eligible stays.
  • Do not forget to select earning IHG points in your IHG account. If you choose to earn airline miles instead, you will not be able to participate in the promotion.
  • Various non-qualifying rates at IHG hotels, such as employee rates and group rates, do not count for this promotion.
  • Bookings through online travel agencies (OTAs), such as Priceline and Expedia, generally do not count.
