IHG stay promotion: Earn 3x AA miles on stays

IHG One Rewards and American Airlines AAdvantage have launched a limited-time bonus miles promotion. From now through July 6, 2026, AAdvantage members who stay at participating IHG hotels and choose to earn airline miles can earn 3x American Airlines miles. If you prefer AA miles, you may want to switch your earning preference.

Promotion details:

• At most brands, earn 6x AA miles per $1 spent (3 times the usual 2 miles);
• At Candlewood Suites and Staybridge Suites, earn 3 AA miles per $1 spent (3 times the usual 1 mile).

Note: Registering will automatically switch your earning preference to “earn miles.” If you want to keep earning IHG points, remember to change it back manually.
