Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi Settlement Overview
In recent years, Hyundai, Kia, and Mitsubishi have faced class-action lawsuits over alleged defects in the airbag control systems of certain vehicles. The lawsuits allege that ZF-TRW airbag control units in these models can be affected by electrical overload, which could cause the airbags and other safety functions to fail in the event of a collision.
