Hyatt sent a mass email to Hyatt cardholders: if you hold a Hyatt credit card, you can participate in a Hyatt elite status challenge. Stay 10 nights to earn Explorist, and stay 20 nights to earn Globalist, the highest tier of elite status.

How to join?

In your inbox, look for an email titled "Upgrade Your Status Three Times Faster." Inside, there’s a registration button labeled "Register with one click"—click it to register.
  • Registration must be completed by September 30;
  • From September 1 to December 30, stay 10 qualifying nights to upgrade to Explorist, and stay 20 qualifying nights to upgrade to Globalist.
  • Only paid stays count, and the rules are the same as standard Qualifying Nights;

The awarded elite status is valid through February 2019. If this is useful, don’t miss this challenge. Hyatt Globalist can now receive unlimited (theoretically) suite upgrades, so if you stay frequently, it can still be worth it.
