Hotels.com has long had its own Rewards program: stay 10 hotel nights and get one reward night credit equal to the average pre-tax price of your previous 10 nights. Stays paid with gift cards also count, which makes it one of the more consumer-friendly OTAs out there. Not long ago, it also restored its classic gift card balance lookup and gift card merge function, so if you picked up discounted gift cards through channels like Amazon, you can combine them together:

According to a Reddit user, customer service was able to extend their reward night by one year via chat. If you need this, it may be worth trying, assuming you can actually reach support, since their customer service has been mysteriously busy.
The agent (took about 25 minutes to get a response) offered to extend it by a year. He did this by manually adding a night which reset my expiration to March 30, 2021, so you'll want to wait until as close to your expiration date as possible to get the full year extension (my original expiration date was April 21, 2020) .
