A pretty good Hilton timeshare presentation deal has popped up recently: stay 3 nights in destinations like Orlando and Las Vegas for only $149 (regularly $2,000), and you’ll also get 100,000 points.

A “timeshare presentation” means you have to sit through a sales pitch at the hotel for their timeshare product, which is similar to buying a long-term hotel stay ownership interest. For most people, you definitely should not buy it! Just listen and move on. If you want to turn them down quickly, simply act completely uninterested during the presentation. After getting shut down a few times, most salespeople will stop pushing.

I strongly do not recommend this for people who are wealthy and easily persuaded. If you actually buy it, there’s a high chance you’ll be making a very bad decision.
