【7.10 Update】The vast majority of SLH hotels can now be booked on the Hilton website—about 390 according to counts. You can book with cash; using points or Free Night Awards depends on whether a standard room is available.
【June 15 Update】Three SLH hotels can now be booked on the Hilton website.
- The bookable properties are all in Europe: Teranka in Formentera, Spain; Nobu Hotel Marbella in Marbella, Spain; Flemings Mayfair, UK
- Hilton says only limited rooms are available for now, with more to be added gradually
Hilton is releasing limited inventory from these boutique properties for immediate booking, with more to be added throughout the testing phase as Hilton and SLH prepare for the full partnership rollout.
Hilton has also announced elite benefits at SLH hotels, as follows:
- Member: Member discount, complimentary Wi-Fi, complimentary late checkout, complimentary bottled water. Guaranteed Member Discount, Complimentary Standard Wi-Fi, Complimentary Late check-out, Bottled Water/Hydration per stay, No Resort Fees on Reward Stays
- Silver: 20% elite tier points bonus, 5th standard reward night free, all Member benefits. 20% Elite Tier Bonus, 5th Standard Reward Night Free, All “Member” benefits
- Gold: 80% elite tier points bonus, complimentary breakfast, room upgrades, all Silver benefits. 80% Elite Tier Bonus, Complimentary Breakfast (for two guests) , Space-available Upgrades, 5th Standard Reward Night Free, All “Member” benefits
- Diamond: 100% elite tier points bonus, all Gold benefits. 100% Elite Tier Bonus, Complimentary Breakfast (for two guests) , Space-available upgrades, 5th Standard Reward Night Free, All “Member” benefits
More partnership details have now been released. AwardWallet and FM obtained some of the information:
- About 20% of SLH hotels will join the Hilton system this summer
- Free Night Awards and points can be used to book SLH hotels
- Hilton Gold and higher elites can enjoy complimentary breakfast, room upgrades, and more at SLH
When SLH previously partnered with Hyatt, Hyatt elite status offered almost no benefits. The Hilton partnership is clearly much closer. Given that Hilton Diamond can be obtained directly via the Aspire credit card, these SLH benefits are well worth looking forward to.
SLH and Hyatt split, and Hilton and SLH will enter a new partnership. Specific details have not been released yet. Expectation is that Hilton elite status will come with SLH benefits, plus reciprocal points earning, Free Night Award usability, and similar perks.
