Note that the “1” here means one stay. If one booking includes multiple nights, it still counts as just one stay, but you can try switching between nearby Hilton hotels and splitting the nights so each night counts as a separate stay.

Greater China

【2023.1 Update】According to other users, if you temporarily change your billing to the Greater China region, this offer may also be activated after a few days. You can also call customer service and ask them to add it.

If your Hilton registration address is set to Greater China, you can join the one-stay retention promotion. Once registered, you only need to complete one stay between Jan. 1 and Mar. 31 to keep the elite status you had in 2022 valid through Mar. 31, 2024. This promotion is very easy to complete, so members in Greater China are in luck.

I’m not sure whether temporarily switching your region to Greater China works, so everyone can try and test it.

If you had qualifying stays between 2019 and 2022, you should be automatically included in this offer. If you did not stay, it is recommended to call Hilton Chinese customer service at 400-820-0500 to register for this offer. I still suggest confirming with them first; calling to verify before staying is safer.
