Hilton and Delta have launched a reciprocal status match promotion. Eligible Hilton Honors members can receive Delta Medallion status, and vice versa. You can check the details here. Registration is required by December 31, 2024.
It is not yet clear who is eligible for these status match offers, or what criteria Hilton and Delta are using to select participants. Still, it may be worth trying. Also, the matched elite status is valid for six months, and you must meet certain stay or flight requirements if you want to keep it beyond that period.
Meet the MQD requirement within six months to retain Delta elite status:
- MQD requirement to retain Silver Medallion status: Earn $2,000 MQDs during the 6-month comped status period.
- MQD requirement to retain Gold Medallion status: Earn $4,000 MQDs during the 6-month comped status period.
Meet Hilton's stay requirement within six months to retain Hilton elite status:
- Retain Hilton Honors Gold status: Stay 15 nights during the 6-month trial status period.
- Retain Hilton Honors Diamond status: Stay 25 nights during the 6-month trial status period.
