Earlier this year, Hilton announced plans to acquire Graduate Hotels. The latest update is that these properties can now be booked through Hilton channels, and they are now participating in Hilton Honors.

The Graduate Hotels brand will join Hilton’s lifestyle hotel portfolio alongside Canopy by Hilton, Curio Collection by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Tempo by Hilton, and Motto by Hilton. Graduate by Hilton is the company’s 24th hotel brand.

For those unfamiliar with Graduate Hotels, the brand was founded in 2014 and focuses on operating hotels in college towns. Each property aims to reflect the unique character of its local university, whether you’re visiting for a game, a graduation celebration, a campus tour, or any other reason. At the moment, Graduate Hotels has around 35 properties open or in the pipeline across the United States and the United Kingdom. Existing locations include Ann Arbor, Knoxville, Palo Alto, State College, Oxford, Cambridge, and more. Hilton clearly sees growth potential in the brand, and it’s easy to imagine it eventually expanding to 500 hotels.
