Hawaiian Airlines has launched a new mileage promotion, in tandem with Alaska Airlines’ simultaneous 70% bonus offer. The promotion runs from now through 11:59 PM HST on June 26, 2025, allowing you to buy Hawaiian Airlines miles for as low as 1.65 cents each. The highlight is that HA’s fees/taxes are lower than AS, so buying miles here is cheaper than AS’s 1.74c/p at just 1.65c/p. Since HA and AS can transfer 1:1, you should buy where it’s cheaper.
Details are as follows:
- HawaiianMiles can be bought as low as 1.65 cents per mile.
- Promotion is valid through 11:59 PM HST on June 26, 2025.
- You can buy up to 100,000 miles per transaction (bonus miles excluded), with a maximum of 150,000 miles per calendar year.
- Bonus miles do not count toward the annual 150,000-mile cap.
- All purchases are non-refundable and subject to HawaiianMiles Terms and Conditions.
- HawaiianMiles purchases are typically processed within about 6 hours.
The promotion has four tiers, with bonus rewards on three of them:
- 1,000–2,000 miles: no bonus (2.8 cents per mile)
- 3,000–14,000 miles: 50% bonus (1.87 cents per mile)
- 15,000–34,000 miles: 60% bonus (1.75 cents per mile)
- 35,000–100,000 miles: 70% bonus (1.65 cents per mile)
To make the most of this offer, you would get 170,000 HawaiianMiles (100,000 base miles + 70,000 bonus miles) for $2,802.25, or a unit cost of 1.65 cents each. Hawaiian Airlines mileage purchase taxes are 1.89%, while Alaska mileage purchase taxes are 7.5%.
