About the lounges at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport
Guangzhou Baiyun Airport has quite a few lounges that you can access with Priority Pass. You can find the full list on the official website.
In general, you’ll also see Priority Pass signage at the lounge entrance. When entering, just swipe your PP card, show your boarding pass, and let the staff know how many guests you’re bringing.
- T1 terminal: Shenzhen Airlines Lounge, Hainan Airlines Lounge, Air China Lounge, China Eastern Lounge, Premium Lounge
- T2 terminal: Premium Lounge
Hainan Airlines Lounge experience
The Hainan Airlines Lounge is located not far from the entrance to Concourse B.
The facilities inside are quite complete.
Before going in, I was ready to survive on instant noodles and drinks, but to my surprise they actually had freshly made noodles inside.
This scallion oil tossed noodle dish was very tasty.
The beef brisket rice noodles were also good.
There were also two hot dim sum items, somewhat similar to pork lard rice cakes. It looked like breakfast, lunch, and dinner are offered, probably only at set meal times. Otherwise, there were the usual drinks and cookies.
There were also small desserts in the refrigerator, and they tasted pretty good.
One of the drinks available was Cantonese herbal tea, which was quite good.
This lounge also has shower rooms, but you need to ask at the front desk to use them.
