About This Class Action
Google recently agreed to pay $23 million to settle a search privacy class action involving users who clicked on search results in the United States between October 26, 2006 and September 30, 2013. According to the lawsuit, Google shared search query keywords with third parties without users’ consent.
Google denies any wrongdoing, but agreed to pay $23 million to resolve the search privacy class action. Each person is estimated to receive about $7.70, but the actual payment amount will depend on how many people submit claims.
The deadline to exclude yourself or object is July 31, 2023. The final approval hearing for the Google settlement is scheduled for October 12, 2023. To receive a settlement payment, class members must submit a valid claim form by July 31, 2023.

- After submitting the form, you will receive an email containing a Class Member ID
- Use the ID from the previous step and go to this website to complete the claim form
