According to a tip from a reader, Google Fi can trigger this quarter’s Freedom 5X category. I checked Reddit today and it looks like this has been reliably coding under Freedom’s cell phone payment category for at least the past two years.
I usually pay this bill with a credit card that includes cell phone protection, since it works well for filing damage claims. Still, using Freedom for 5X is also a good option, especially for the primary account holder on a multi-line plan.
