According to an announcement on Frontier’s official website, it will merge with fellow low-cost carrier Spirit to create a stronger budget airline in the U.S. If the merger goes through, the combined airline will likely launch a new co-branded credit card with better benefits. And if they introduce something like Southwest’s Companion Pass, it should be quite popular.
