Delta Vacations has rolled out an improvement: you can now get at least 15% more value when booking a vacation package with miles. On top of that, paid spending can earn more miles, and those miles can also count toward Medallion Qualification Dollars, helping you work toward Delta elite status.
Previously, Delta miles redeemed for vacation packages were worth 1 cent per point. Now the value is roughly 1.15 cents per point or even higher. This is a pretty solid improvement; otherwise, I honestly wouldn’t expect many people to use this feature.
