Most Delta co-branded cards now come with complimentary Uber One membership. Gold gets 6 months, while Platinum and Reserve get 12 months. Uber One costs 9.99 per month, and you must enroll and pay with the eligible card in order to receive the statement credit reimbursement. It’s a good idea to set yourself a reminder so you don’t keep getting charged after the six months or one year is up.
This partnership has officially gone live! If you fly Delta and use Uber, you can now earn rewards on both.
Delta Air Lines recently officially announced a brand-new partnership agreement, giving travelers a new way to earn miles. At CES in Las Vegas, Delta CEO Ed Bastian and Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi jointly unveiled this multi-year travel partnership, which was set to launch this spring.
This new partnership makes Uber Delta’s exclusive rideshare and delivery partner in the U.S., replacing Lyft. Travelers can now join the waiting list to be the first to hear about exclusive benefits once the partnership goes live. After linking the two accounts, SkyMiles members in the U.S. can earn miles in the following ways:
- Uber Eats: Earn 1 mile per 1 dollar spent on restaurant and grocery orders of 40 dollars or more
- Airport rides: Earn 1 mile per 1 dollar spent on Uber rides to and from the airport
- Premium rides: Earn 2 miles per 1 dollar spent on premium ride services such as Uber Comfort and Uber Black
- Uber Reserve: Earn 3 miles per 1 dollar spent on pre-booked Uber Reserve rides
Customers who already linked their Lyft and Delta accounts can continue earning miles through Lyft until April 7, 2025.
