According to a post on Reddit, Delta will make a fairly major change to its frequent flyer program on September 14. The rumor is that elite status may soon depend only on how much you spend with Delta and on spending on Delta co-branded credit cards, somewhat similar to how AA currently earns loyalty points. We’ll have to wait and see.
