All of these packages go live daily at 1PM ET (10AM PT). If you have plans to visit a major city, picking up a few 2-night or 3-night packages can be a good option.
Personally, I buy some Best Western points as a backup. Although BW hotels are mostly chain properties, they do have many locations in national parks (you rarely see Hyatt or SPG in these parks, and even Marriott is not common), which makes them a solid option for peak-season trips to national parks. The cost is 0.55 cpp.
