Ctrip often runs some pretty interesting promotions, especially for international credit card users (basically cards issued outside mainland China). This post is intended to keep track of these offers.
A recent one is:
- UnionPay International Cards: ¥100 off ¥300 on flights and hotels
- The promotion appears to be limited to one use only
When booking domestic flights within China through Ctrip, fares are often just a bit over 300 RMB, so this promotion can be quite useful. Eligible cards include the ICBC UnionPay credit card issued in the US, as well as UnionPay cards issued in Hong Kong (both debit and credit cards can trigger the discount).
