In 2025, Choice has made quite a few updates. The booking window for award stays was extended from 100 days to as much as 50 weeks. But as of today, Choice Privileges has also quietly devalued its points. Choice Privileges does not publish an award chart, and redemptions in Northern Europe have generally offered some of the best value. After this change, many hotels in that region now require substantially more points:
- Hotels that previously cost just 16,000 points now require 30,000 points.
- Hotels that used to cost 20,000 to 30,000 points now require 40,000 points.
