Starting now, the Chase Sapphire Reserve annual fee can be offset using Pay Yourself Back (PYB), at a redemption rate of 1.5 cpp ($150 from 10,000 points). This is actually a pretty nice option—being able to use up points quickly is better than just letting them sit there.

That said, this is not a game-changing addition, because PYB could already be used to offset dining, grocery, home improvement, and similar purchases. Most people probably do not have enough points to cover everything anyway...

From what I can see, only the CSR has this feature; the CSP does not.
