Starting on August 15, 2026, Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club will exit the Priority Pass and LoungeKey networks. Users who earn Priority Pass membership through non-Chase credit cards such as AMEX Platinum and Capital One Venture X will no longer be able to enter U.S. Chase Sapphire Lounge locations using that membership.

Which credit cards can still get in?

The lounge benefits for the following Chase premium cardholders are largely unchanged:

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve primary and authorized user cardholders
  • Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business primary cardholders
  • J.P. Morgan Reserve primary and authorized user cardholders
  • Ritz-Carlton Credit Card primary and authorized user cardholders

Eligible cardholders can still visit Chase Sapphire Lounge locations an unlimited number of times, and may bring up to two guests for free each visit. Additional guests are usually $27 per person. Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business employee cards do not include lounge access.

Connecting travelers can enter up to 5 hours early

This update also brings one improvement. Starting August 15, eligible Chase cardholders with a same-day connection can enter the lounge up to 5 hours before the next flight departs, up from the previous 3-hour limit.

If the flight is the first leg of the trip, or if you are taking a nonstop flight, entry is still limited to 3 hours before departure.

Which Chase Sapphire Lounge locations are open now?

The Chase Sapphire Lounge locations currently open in the U.S. include:

  • Boston BOS
  • Dallas DFW
  • Las Vegas LAS
  • New York JFK
  • New York LGA
  • Philadelphia PHL
  • Phoenix PHX
  • San Diego SAN

The Los Angeles LAX lounge is also in development. Priority Pass has already noted on multiple lounge pages that these lounges will leave the network on August 15, 2026.

Bottom line

This change mainly affects users who get Priority Pass through credit cards from other banks. These members were previously able to enter a U.S. Chase Sapphire Lounge once per calendar year for free, and then pay $75 per visit; starting August 15, that benefit will be eliminated entirely.

For Chase Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve, and Ritz-Carlton cardholders, access is unchanged, and eligible travelers can still enter up to 5 hours before a connection. If you have a standard Priority Pass and have not used your one free 2026 visit yet, you may want to use it before August 14.
