Chase Pay and Walmart.com have launched a promotion: use an eligible Chase credit card through Chase Pay when shopping at Walmart.com and earn 10x UR points. DoC has already confirmed with Chase that this offer is not targeted, so any cardholder can take advantage of it.

Offer Details

From August 1 through August 31, shop at Walmart.com and pay with Chase Pay using:

  • Chase Freedom,
  • Chase Freedom Unlimited,
  • Chase Sapphire,
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred, or
  • Chase Sapphire Reserve

and you will earn an extra 9x UR points. The spending cap is $250, for a total of 2,500 Ultimate Rewards points.

How to Use It

Shop at Walmart.com, and at checkout click "+More" and choose the blue "Chase Pay" button. Then log in with your chase.com account to complete payment.

Gift Cards?

There are plenty of household items available on Walmart.com. If you do not expect to max out the $250 limit, you can also consider buying gift cards on Walmart.com. Walmart gift cards can be used for groceries at Walmart and Sam's Club. There are also Visa gift cards available; the $200 denomination costs $206.88, which is like paying $6.88 for 2,069 UR points. Note that buying a large number of gift cards in a short period can easily cause Walmart.com to cancel your orders, so we recommend buying well in advance. Below is the original email.
