Using Multiple Cards for Away Reimbursement
Buy In Store
Go to an Away retail store to make the purchase. The referral will not work in this case, but in-store purchases may have other discounts. Away does not have many physical stores, so you can search on Google; there may only be a handful in the entire US. At checkout, just ask the associate to split the charge across multiple cards.
Buy Through Customer Service
If you live far from a retail store, you can consider trying to place the order by phone.
- First use the refer link to register an account
- Add the suitcase you want to your cart
- Call Away customer service and ask them to help you check out, explaining that you want to split the payment across multiple cards.
- Customer service should be able to see the extra $20 discount you got from the refer link. If not, tell them it should be there and ask them to apply it manually.
