From April 1, 2025 to April 30, 2025, you can get an 80% bonus when transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to IHG One Rewards. The transfer ratio reaches 1,000:1,800 at the best end of the promotion. I do not recommend this offer.

  • IHG One Rewards points are valued at about 0.5 cents each, while Chase Ultimate Rewards points are worth around 1.7 cents each. Even with this bonus, each Chase point converted to IHG still only yields points worth 0.9 cents. By comparison, Chase points redeemed through the Chase Travel Portal usually value at about 1.25 to 1.5 cents each.
  • What’s more, IHG often sells points for about 0.5 cents each, so I’d rather recommend buying points with cash directly. Using Chase points to get 0.85 cents of value is clearly not worth it.

Of course, if you’re only a little short of the points needed for a room, or just short of a 3-for-1 stay, you could consider topping up a bit.
