Capital One has launched another airline transfer bonus, this time for Virgin Red / Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. Get 30% bonus miles for a limited time, through November 20, 2026.

The process is simple: Sign in to your Capital One credit card account, go to Rewards → Convert Rewards, select Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, and enter your membership number. Virgin Red and Flying Club use the same Virgin Points currency. Once you link your two membership accounts, you can share your points balance and redeem directly for flights on Virgin Atlantic and its partners.
The Virgin Points redemptions worth looking into are partner award flights on ANA, Delta, Air France/KLM, and other airlines—especially ANA business- and first-class flights to and from Japan, as well as some short-haul domestic Delta flights in the United States. However, award availability varies considerably. Virgin Atlantic flights can occasionally have very low mileage prices, but taxes and surcharges may be high. I think a 30% transfer bonus is a good offer, but it’s not an all-time high that you need to jump on. Virgin runs similar promotions every year, and its award chart is adjusted frequently. If you’ve already found a suitable ANA or Delta award flight, transferring now could be a good deal. If you don’t have a specific booking in mind, I’d recommend keeping your points with Capital One and transferring them only when you need them. Bank points are more flexible, after all, and transfers to airline accounts generally can’t be reversed.
