Starting January 1, 2023, the complimentary Priority Pass membership that comes with the Capital One Venture X will be scaled back. Non-lounge benefits will be removed, such as dining credits at airport restaurants, shopping discounts, spa discounts, and similar perks. There is no impact on actual lounge access benefits. This is similar to when AMEX previously removed this benefit from its Priority Pass Select membership, so my guess is that Priority Pass will reserve these extra perks for paid members.
Effective January 1, 2023, Priority Pass non-lounge airport experiences (like dining, retail shopping and spa discounts) are not part of the Visa Infinite® benefit program for Venture X cardholders. (Link to FAQ: https://www.capitalonetravel.com/lounges/partner-lounge-network/)
This benefit works by logging into your account and generating a coupon based on the airport and merchant, which you can then use.
