In the past, we’ve seen plenty of mysterious promo codes from Uber. This time, Lyft is joining in as well by teaming up with Budweiser to give away promo codes for free. The goal is to reduce drunk driving and encourage people to take Lyft when heading out to bars.

Every Thursday at 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Budweiser posts promo codes on its social media channels (Facebook and Instagram). You must apply the code right away for it to be valid. Offer: Take Lyft on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night and get $10 off your ride (you do not need to spend the full $10). The discount can be used twice. The promo code for the 10/19 to 10/22 weekend is: RESPONSIBLERIDES. Available only in select states: NY, CO, IL, FL, MA, PA, MI, TX, GA, and DC. If you already need rides over the weekend and live in one of the eligible states above, this is a very good deal. We’ll update the promo code when appropriate.
