Latest update on September 21: According to an inside source, all Best Buy stores will support Apple Pay by September 28!

Best Buy has long been listed in the “Coming soon” section of Apple Pay partners, but some sharp-eyed readers have already noticed that nearby Best Buy stores are accepting NFC payments (Android Pay and Apple Pay). There are even receipts to prove it (see below).
Reports so far indicate that the Best Buy stores currently supporting contactless payments are all in California, including locations in Sacramento and San Diego. People living in California will likely see nearby Best Buy stores start rolling out Apple Pay very soon.
What to Buy at Best Buy
Best Buy’s electronics prices are usually quite a bit higher than other stores (Amazon, B&H, Newegg, TigerDirect, etc), and you still have to pay sales tax. However, they price match Amazon, B&H, Newegg, TigerDirect, and local stores. If you can take advantage of the Discover Apple Pay promotion, using your Discover card at Best Buy can be a very good option. Best Buy also sells a large selection of gift cards, usually including eBay and various restaurant gift cards. If you are lucky, some stores may even have Visa gift cards, which can be used to load Serve, although the purchase fee is relatively high.
