From January 15, 2018 through February 4, 2018, use Chase Pay for in-store purchases at Best Buy to earn a total of 10x Ultimate Rewards points.
- With Chase Freedom, you earn 5x additional points, plus 5x UR points from the first-quarter bonus category.
- With Chase Freedom Unlimited, you earn 8.5x additional points, plus 1.5x UR points from the card’s regular earning rate.
- With other Chase Sapphire cards, you earn 9x additional points.
Because the Chase Freedom mobile wallet 5x category has a $1,500 cap, we recommend using other cards first and then switching to the Chase Freedom card for this promotion.
How to Use It at Best Buy
At checkout in a physical store, have the cashier scan the payment QR code dynamically generated in the Chase app on your phone. It works similarly to WeChat Pay.
