Promotion Overview
BofA is also launching its own rewards day promotion. On November 5, all personal and business cards will earn an extra 2% or 2x miles, valid for that day only. The promotion window is based on Eastern Time: 12:00am to 11:59pm Eastern Time (ET) on November 5, 2022.
The good news is that all cards are eligible. On top of the usual rewards, you get an extra 2x or 2%, and it does not appear that any cap is mentioned. One reminder, though: this extra 2x is not eligible for the additional boost from BofA Preferred Rewards.
How to Use It
As for what to buy, an extra 2% is pretty meaningful. You could buy Visa gift cards or third-party gift cards such as Amazon gift cards and save them for Black Friday or Christmas deals. You could also consider using a credit card to pay rent, mortgage, taxes, and so on. If you have the cards below, it may be worth putting a lot of spend on them. Or you could use this window to max out the quarterly $1,500 spending cap.
