November 6, 2025 is Bank of America’s annual special rewards day, More Rewards Day, and it only lasts for one day. This is a great opportunity to earn extra rewards, whether you use a cash back, points, or miles credit card.
How to earn the bonus
On this special promotion day, you can earn the following bonuses:
- Cash back credit cards: On 11/06/25 (Eastern Time), earn an extra 2% cash back on up to $2,500 in total purchases, for a maximum of $50.
- Points cards: On the same day, earn an extra 2 points per $1 on up to $2,500 in spending, for a maximum of 5,000 points.
- Miles cards: On the same day, earn an extra 2 miles per $1 on purchases, for a maximum of 5,000 miles.
- Non-rewards cards: On 11/06/25 (Eastern Time), earn 2% cash back on the first $2,500 in purchases, automatically applied as a statement credit, for a maximum of $50.
No registration is required. Just make purchases on November 6, 2025 and you can easily earn the bonus rewards. Remember that the cap is $2,500 in spending per card, so having multiple cards can work out very well.

Additional details
Keep in mind that all purchase transactions must be completed by that date, and the bonus rewards will appear in a future billing cycle. Also make sure your account is active and open so that you can receive these extra rewards.
How to maximize it
If you have multiple BofA cards, the ideal strategy is to max out the spending on each one. An extra 2% is better than what many ordinary cards offer. This can be especially useful for purchases that do not normally fall into bonus categories such as groceries or dining, such as paying taxes (income tax or property tax) or various bills (insurance, utilities). You may want to make those payments on November 6. If you have the Bilt App, you can also pay rent (or a mortgage) that day.
Of course, if you do not have that much spending, you can prioritize cards that already earn strong rewards on their own. Note that this extra 2% stacks with bonus-category rewards. For example, ATMOS normally earns 3x on overseas spending, and with the extra 2x, that becomes 5x total. Below are a few cards that are a good fit for this promotion.
