Received an email from AwardWallet saying that, starting now, it can no longer track the mileage balance and expiration date for added AA accounts, and all added AA accounts have also been removed from AwardWallet. That’s a shame. It seems that none of the major U.S. airlines allow AwardWallet tracking anymore. UA and DL were removed earlier, and now it’s AA’s turn. I wonder if it’s because AwardWallet keeps reminding users about expiration dates, which means these airlines make less money from their customers.
Fortunately, you can still use AwardWallet to track and receive expiration reminders for various hotel programs and credit card companies, so overall it’s still pretty convenient. It can also store each program’s membership number. If you’re interested in a platform that lets you centrally manage your frequent traveler numbers, check out our detailed introduction
