How It Works

If you have previously subscribed to Apple Music or Apple Music Student, you are not eligible for this promotion. However, you could try creating a new Apple ID and then follow the verification and subscription steps below.

Here is a general overview of the process:

  • Sign up for Apple Music Student and choose the student option in Apple Music. It also appears to include Apple TV+, which should be stackable with the earphones offer.
  • You will need to verify your college student status through UniDays.
  • You will then need to sign in with your Apple ID. Make sure this ID has never subscribed to Apple Music before.
  • Because the first month is free, Apple will send the earphones redemption link only after you pay the $5.99 monthly fee for the second month. You can choose the color from the redemption link.
Within 30 days after you have become eligible, Apple will email you instructions for redeeming your free pair of Beats Flex earphones. Within 90 days of receiving this email, you must successfully follow these instructions to receive your earphones. You may be given the option to redeem earphones in various colors. If the color you order is not in stock, Apple will send you available earphones in a color of its choosing
  • After redeeming the earphones, you can cancel the Apple Music service if you do not need it.
