It used to require Apple Pay to get 3%, but now 3% also applies when using a physical card for Walgreens drive-through orders. Apple Card may not be the highest earning option at Walgreens (many rotating-category cards offer 5% in the drugstores category), but Apple made a small pandemic-related improvement, and it deserves some praise.
