According to WSJ, Chase is actively in contact with Goldman Sachs and is interested in acquiring the Apple Card as part of a package deal. Given that the Goldman Sachs GM credit card portfolio has already been sold to Barclays, there is a decent chance that a deal for the Apple Card could also go through.
