According to DOC, some users have seen a $50 welcome bonus offer for Apple Card in the Walgreens app. To earn it, you need to spend $50+ at Walgreens within 30 days. This is the first time we’ve seen a welcome bonus on Apple Card! If you’re interested in this card, you can download the iOS version of the Walgreens app and check the weekly ads section to see whether you have the offer.
It’s unclear whether we’ll start seeing different versions of welcome bonus offers across various apps in the future.
That said, Apple Card’s cash back structure is still pretty solid: 3% on Apple purchases, including online, in-store, and App Store purchases; 3% back at Uber, Uber Eats, Walgreens, Duane Reade, T-Mobile, and Nike when using Apple Pay; 2% back on other Apple Pay purchases (you can check Apple Pay merchants here: https://www.apple.com/apple-pay/where-to-use); and 1% on everything else.
