AMEX has finally announced the 2021 Shop Small offer, and this time it’s only $10—very stingy. And based on how AMEX Offers work, you can probably add only one offer per person, which means $10 per person. If you don’t see this offer, you can add it to your card from the link below.

Take a look at prior rounds—AMEX seems to be running pretty low on generosity.

  • 2020: AMEX Shop Small small-business campaign ($5 off $10, usable 10 times)
  • 2016: All AMEX cards (including business cards) had extra 1x cash back or rebate at Small Business merchants.
  • 2015: Some users received a targeted AMEX Offer: for Small Business spending over $10 between 11/1–11/28, users could get a $10 Credit.
  • 2014: All AMEX cards could be enrolled in SBS. On SBS day, spending $10 or more at eligible merchants would get $10 credit, up to 3 times per card. AMEX supplemental cards could also be earned independently.
  • 2013: All AMEX cards could be enrolled in SBS. On SBS day, spending $10 or more at eligible merchants would get $10 credit, one-time only. AMEX supplemental cards could also be earned independently.
  • 2012: All AMEX cards could be enrolled in SBS. On SBS day, spending $25 or more at eligible merchants would get $25 credit, one-time only. AMEX supplemental cards could also be earned independently.
