There is currently a 30% bonus for transferring MR to Avios, bringing the transfer ratio to 1:1.3. I wouldn’t recommend stockpiling BA miles; just transfer when you need them, since the points should post almost instantly anyway. The promotion expires on August 31, and you should be able to see it by logging into your own MR account.
