Ever since the AMEX Green incognito-mode welcome offer changed to 45,000 (an all-time high for MR, but without the Away credit)【quick application link】, the AMEX Platinum 75,000 offer has also become very easy to pull up.

Over the past few days, I’ve been able to pull up 75,000 almost every day just by checking casually. The historical highest targeted offer on the AMEX Platinum is 125,000 (I’ve only seen one DP), and the standard targeted offer is 100,000 (usually for SSNs that have never had an AMEX credit card), so both of those are offers AMEX sends to specific SSNs.

If you already have an AMEX credit card, then 75,000 is basically the best welcome bonus you’re likely to see. We generally recommend applying for this card in December, but once December arrives, AMEX gets pretty stingy and rarely shows the 75,000 offer. If you have a large upcoming spend, it may be worth considering now. Remember to check in incognito mode, or use VPN+incognito mode. YMMV:

An Indirect Way to Get 100,000

Back to the title: if you’re playing the two-player card strategy, and one person has an AMEX Business Gold card, that card is also at its all-time high 75,000 offer recently. Again, be sure to use incognito mode or VPN+incognito mode.

The referral bonus from this card is 25,000 points (and you can refer across cards to the Platinum). In two-player mode, you can effectively get 75,000+25,000 on the Platinum, which is basically a 100,000 total. Or, alternatively, doing 75,000+25,000 on the Biz Gold is also pretty nice. As a lesser option, you could do 45,000+25,000 on the AMEX Green (with only $2,000 in required spending), which is still quite enviable in the card-churning world.

Note: pulling up the highest AMEX offer can sometimes feel like a mystery. If you really just can’t get it to appear, I honestly don’t know how else to help—try VPN+browser incognito mode, and keep switching locations.
