【2026.3 update】inKind recently made a “warm upgrade”: it no longer allows different offers to be stacked together, whereas they could be stacked before. That also shows how generous the old policy used to be. Even with this “warm upgrade,” at least this dining app should survive in the short term. There aren’t many great deal apps left, so hopefully this one sticks around!

Add the same AMEX Offer to multiple cards

You can use our Offer-adding extension (free) or MaxRewards (first month free) to add the offer to every card, so you can repeat the deal several times. If you add it directly, it can only be added to one AMEX card and will disappear from the others. Note that both methods only work if you can already see these offers in your account. They simply get around the limitation that one offer can only be added to one card; they cannot create offers out of thin air.

Using Inkind

There are two ways to use this Inkind offer:

  • Reload funds
  • Spend at a restaurant

Reloading is the easiest method. You can directly load $50 to trigger the reimbursement:

When reloading multiple times, you do not need to worry about any balance cap. Your account balance can be used directly for in-person dining; if the total is exceeded, the linked credit card will automatically be charged.

Your account balance can be used for dining in person. If you go over the balance, the linked credit card will be charged.

Cash back expiration

Starting November 1, inKind cash back earned from spending will expire after two months. Any inKind cash back earned before November 1 will expire on December 31. If you still have referral rewards from before, remember to use them by the end of the month.
