Today I saw that DOC shared a link for AMEX to give out free masks to merchants. Each merchant can claim 1 pack of 5 masks. If you use Guest Check Out, you can complete the request without entering merchant information.
One important thing to note is that this mask is not a protective medical surgical mask, nor is it anything like an N95. At best, it is just a face covering — basically a single layer of cloth. It has the AMEX logo printed on it, so wearing it mostly serves as advertising. We still recommend choosing a mask that fits your needs based on science and taking proper precautions.
