You can now upgrade from the AMEX Biz Gold/Green to the Biz Platinum and receive a 50,000-point upgrade bonus. If you have one of these cards, check whether you were targeted. The upgrade bonus requires $10,000 in spending, which is still fairly high. But if you upgrade now, you can get two rounds of airline fee credits totaling $400, two rounds of Dell credits totaling $200, plus the 50,000-point upgrade bonus. After subtracting the $595 annual fee, this can still be well worth it. After holding the card for one year, you can downgrade again or close the card.
