Due to the pandemic, AmEx will temporarily close all Centurion Lounges

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of airline travelers worldwide has plunged. American Express announced that, starting March 21, it will temporarily close all Centurion Lounges worldwide, including 11 in the United States and one in Hong Kong. There is no set reopening date yet; reopening is expected to depend on the pandemic easing and traveler volume recovering. AmEx said it will announce reopening dates in advance through the AMEX app.
