I clicked through on a computer on Jan. 22, and I got the email about the credit on Jan. 26. If you haven’t received it yet, just wait patiently.
Amazon has a new promotion: read a story in Kindle Vella (it seems to be a serialized story), and you can get a $5 Amazon Credit. I tried it on a computer, too—it works, and you do not need a Kindle. Based on the promotion screen, after reading any story, an email will be sent to tell you that the credit has been credited. The credit expires 30 days after it is issued.
