Amazon and Walmart No Longer Offer Shopping Portal Cashback

Amazon no longer offers Shopping Portal cashback. Previously, although the eligible categories were limited, clothing, furniture, and Amazon’s own electronics products (Amazon devices) were all cashback-eligible. In particular, the cashback rate on Amazon devices was quite decent. It’s unclear whether this is permanent; hopefully it’s only temporary. H/T: DOC

I won’t list more examples here. The only exception is that some paid services still offer cashback.

Before this change, if you wanted cashback on eligible items, you had to click through from a cashback site first, then add the item to your cart and check out in order for the purchase to track properly.

Also, as a side note, Walmart no longer offers it either.
