If you fly on Alaska Airlines-operated flights between March 7 and April 11, and credit those flights to your Mileage Plan account, you can earn a 50% bonus in MVP elite-qualifying miles.

We doubt anyone would take a trip just because of this promotion, but if you do need to travel (for example, to get out of Seattle), having a promo is still better than not having one.
