According to TPG, Air Canada says it will partner with Chase to issue a co-branded Air Canada credit card. Of course, that would also mean Chase Ultimate Rewards points could later be transferred to Air Canada miles. Right now, Air Canada’s only co-branded card is issued by TD bank and is aimed at Canadian users. With Chase introducing a new co-branded card, it will likely come with something like a 50,000-mile bonus and 3x on Air Canada purchases. In short, this gives us another nice opportunity. And UR transferring to AC is great news, especially since AC plans to launch family pooling later, which would effectively let families combine points for redemptions.
